Great premise for a book but the story was pretty much the same as [b:Earth Abides|93269|Earth Abides|George R. Stewart|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1320505234s/93269.jpg|1650913]. An EMP weapon is still a good idea though for a post-apocalyptic story since it is statistically more probable than a zombie uprising.
